Fellow wood Wells, Andrew, sent me some of his latest pics. Beautiful as always. A Simmons style sled and a curvy fish. The guy spends too much time in those long north coast point breaks... bastardo!!!
The wood is a new direction for me, but its also an old one, actually wood has been part of surfing from its first days. Despite all our technologies there is something alive and grounding when run your hands over a piece of wood. When you sit on the ocean there is a harmony of vibrations coming from your wood board.
